Among the most notable trends at the National Stationery Show in New York last month was the increase in the number of companies offering letterpress-printed Christmas cards.
"A few years ago, companies were giving away their old letterpress machines," says Elizabeth Engelhardt, spokesperson for smock, which debuted a new line of letterpress Christmas cards on bamboo stock at the NSS. "Now, it has become very popular again. People want something personal, and letterpress cards make such an impression. There has been a complete resurgence." [FULL STORY]
